Province inhabitants raise an issue that they experienced in their area that not only prevents fruitful agriculture but is also missing in their day-to-day lives and that was water.
Consequently, we decided to make water available in the area.

The problem
Haiti faces many natural disasters, like cyclones, droughts, and flooding among others. Some of these disasters are a consequence of climate change and variability due to deforestation. As a result, water has become scarce not only for agriculture but most importantly day to day usage, especially in the rural areas of the country. ECLAT Haiti Inc. decided to get involved in this crisis and, in partnership with local engineers, make water available in provinces.

Water is the foundation to any development. Thousands of people are suffering from a lack of access to clean, safe water. The water project is a direct response to the current struggle of the inhabitants.
